Description
A central character in the Chinese classic Journey to the West (西游记), Sun Wukong is a mythical monkey born from a magical stone. Possessing immense strength, agility, and magical powers, he can transform into 72 forms, summon clones, and ride clouds to travel vast distances. His weapon, the Ruyi Jingu Bang (a size-shifting staff), symbolizes his rebellious spirit.
Initially a troublemaker who challenged heaven itself, he was imprisoned under a mountain by Buddha. Later, he redeems himself by escorting the monk Tang Sanzang on a perilous journey to retrieve Buddhist scriptures. Known for his wit, bravery, and loyalty, Sun Wukong embodies resilience and the triumph of perseverance over arrogance.
